Hello everyone, hows life?
I'm doing fine. I got back from italy about a month ago, that was an incredible trip! Being there alone was so much better then before when I was there with Shanti. My favorite place in Siena is "the tea room". They have over 99 different kinds or tea and amazing cocktails! Here is a picture with the amusing owner:



So yes life is good, I'm still studying opera and I'm starting to audition a bit.

12:23am:

7:54pm: wow what a day .. well I found an apartment that I love! Its a studio on Queen Ann with a view of the city! Its a really nice old building too.

3:56am: Wow .. I just cannot sleep without Shanti. And I only got 4 hours of sleep last night. To top that all off I have a rehearsal tomorrow. I guess I just won't sleep. I wish I had someone to talk to right now.. everyone is asleep.

3:23am: Well .. Shanti has moved out and broken up with me. All this happened yesterday after being sick for almost a month. We had been living together for two years. It is so hard to go to sleep in an empty bed. I found out she has already found an apartment with a view of the city. That is something I have always wanted and to know that I am not going to be moving there with her really hurts. We never moved out of the apartment under my parents house because she could not afford it. But now she is getting one all her own.

I have decided I am going to move out to and sell my fish tank. This wonderful little home me and Shanti built together will not exist at all anymore and the time we spent here will be only a memory.

I'm a mess ..

4:24am: Shanti if you read you are reading your friends page before checking your email. Its 4:16 AM and I just got a call from Pam. Your father is in the hospital. I sent you email.

9:47am: I'm updating from the ferry! WOW free wireless internet while you glide across the sound.

1:21pm: :: sigh :: 17 more days until Shanti is back. The last 2 weeks I have done nothing but work (on opera stuff).

10:56am: Shit!!! .. I'm still sick and Shanti lost her cell phone in italy so I have no way of calling her. I'm going crazy. SHIT SHIT SHIT

5:07am: so .. yet another night of staying up past 5 .. its fun being 21

12:53am: I don't think I have ever felt this lonely before .. really I'm not just saying that to be whiny .. not that I'm not whining about it .. well anyway I'm still alive .. still learning to sing opera .. turns out that I might even be a heldentenor .. anyway I have been sick for over three weeks and shanti is in Italy for two months .. so I'm all alone and sick .. among other things

2:42am: I found an opera teacher up here who is one of a kind and I believe I have a great furture in voice. He sung for the Met for 20 years and has students currently singing in the Metropolitan Opera and all over the world. I decided to not return to the academy after long deliberation, and applied for a one year deferral in studies, in case I changed my mind, but was not granted one. I have no regrets about going back to the academy. Singing opera is the most satisfying challenge I have ever pursued.

1:01am: I haven't updated in a while .. a lot has happened:
1. I got back into the academy
2. I am opera training daily with an apparently famous opera trainer who thinks I will be a big opera star.
3. I have been going out with Shanti for over 2 months and am madly in love with her.
4. I am going to France Switzerland and Italy in a few days with Mark
5. I started building a ride in my parents basement
6. Mark and I started a nonprofit organization: "The Organization for Global Connection" (www.global-connection.org)
7. I am getting paid a fat salary to build an anti smoking float for Freemont Solstice.

10:33am: I'm back in Seattle! I will find out wether I get back in to AADA and if I have been excepted to the UW any day.
